Tennessee REPUBLICANS erased insurance for at least 128,000 kids. Many parents don't know.

REPUBLICANS run this fucking state I live in....both houses of congress and the fucking governors office.

Like so many others, Heather Hantz found out the hard way that her son's health insurance had vanished.

Hantz, 44, a Tennessee single mom whose 6-year-old son, Harrison, has autism, moved into a new house last summer, then called the state government to provide her new address. It was critical, she knew, that she update her son's file at TennCare, a massive Medicaid program that provided him with essential health care coverage.

On the phone, Hantz got devastating news: Harrison didn’t have TennCare anymore.

“I was horrified,” she said, “because I knew exactly what was going to happen next.”

6. tennesseeans can protest at UTenn and memphis u and scare the crap out of the cons

in tenn these 2 universities support 7 limbaugh stations - Tennessee 4, Memphis 3 - by broadcasting sports on them. that brings a lot of advertising and good community PR and those stations are critical parts of the GOP political messaging in the state.

those are some of the 260 limbaugh stations that would fall apart if these 88 universities stopped broadcasting sports on them. all those stations have been trying to stop health care reform for 2 decades, stop the ACA, now to kill the it. they also deny global warming and work to defund public ed.

protests at the unis pushing them to find apolitical alternatives, whatever the unis actually do, will scare advertisers, the tenn GOP will freak out and draw more neg attention to the advertisers, and some of those stations may have to drop rw talk radio. that will scare advertisers from all RW radio in the state. without that advantage dems can even win in tennessee
