If Trump Loses In 2020 And Refuses To Leave The White House - Is There.....

a mechanism in place to remove him so the Dem Administration can begin?

They call me a crisis manager cause I create the crisis before it happens. I'm asking because I believe we should be ready for this situation. I would like to know that we know how to deal with it now - instead of waiting until it might or does happen and then try to deal with it.

Any thoughts?

donald fraud will no longer be president even if he somehow can remain physically in the white house.

the only problem is if the bureaucracy pretends he's still president.

i rather doubt that will happen, without something major happening between now and then (reichstag fire, e.g.)

I'm sure they can assure that Trump is gone from the White House as soon as the new president is sworn in. Hopefully by ALL MEANS necessary.

Secret Service switches to the new administration, and if the old one has not vacated the premises, they will be escorted off or apprehended. If SS's force is insufficient, then the military will answer to the lawful (new) POTUS and put down the insurrectionists.

I don't think he is well. Too tough a job. Now, he doesn't want to admit it, but his children, will try to keep him from running. Yes, sounds kind of off, but that is what I believe. I don't think his leaving will be an issue.

We vote him out, he’s out. He can’t just stay there and retain power. It doesn’t work that way and no one who matters will support him doing that.

Which I don’t necessarily disagree with. I am glad that in 2020 the states will elect the president, not the federally tallied count of the popular vote. And the federal government has nothing to do with it.

When the Democratic controlled House of Representatives tallies the vote of the state’s electors, the winner will be declared.

At that point we have a new President. The swearing in is just a formality. It can happen at any place.

handcuffs and an escort out the door.

However,

What you are describing is essentially a coup/civil situation. Those are fairly unpredictable. Coups only happen when the revolting party has enough top level leaders (i.e. Generals or Secret Service) to fight the other generals that oppose such a thing. And of course it's not Generals arm wrestling, they'll have their own loyal followers and they will have their own and so on.

Bloody, messy and no matter what the outcome, the US would never be the same again.

I don't think it'll happen though. Every 4 years this question comes up. Conservatives were worried about OBama leaving. DU was worried about Bush leaving. Before that Clinton etc etc. Literally this discussion happens every 4 years.

Trump will leave and go live out his life in comfort in Florida, and we'll move on to some other new bad guy (who will no doubt be worse than Trump)
