Pelosi on Nielsen resigning: that 'she is not extreme enough for the WH liking is deeply alarming'

As Homeland Security Secretary, Kirstjen Nielsen oversaw the implementation of the Trump Admin’s increasingly toxic anti-immigrant policies. That she is reportedly resigning because she is not extreme enough for the White House’s liking is deeply alarming.

Are you aware that the Senate is held by the GOP?

I am also aware representatives and senators swore an oath to protect and defend the Constitution, not to protect and defend their respective party.

The orange mobster is a life-long criminal who obviously doesn't care about his own oath, nor about any law of the land, except perhaps the one against murder by himself (not even sure of that at this point as he said he could shoot someone on 5th Ave. and nobody would do anything...).

It is clear he KNOWS he will not be indicted as long as he will hold office and that Pence will pardon him preemptively on all his Federal Law crimes on resignation the day after he will either lose re-election, or is impeached, and he KNOWS that New York state will indict him of dozens of State-Law felonies. It's obvious he is faking early-stage' Dementia in case his lawyers will need to plea mental disorder in a bid to keep him out of state jails.

It's obvious KNOWING all that, he's now in full-blown Dictatorship mode, inciting violence as much as he can for him to turn the Republic into a fascist "it can happen here" state!

Impeachment can stop this lawless monster by exposing his crimes every week with all the evidence found day after day. The Senate will defend a mobster or the Constitution?

The GOP Senators, under the direction of McConnell has done and continues to do exactly that in order to get their justices in.

So, why is a futile impeachment worth it, again? How does that not make Dems look like they are mounting a witch hunt ala BENGHAZI?

So, why is a futile impeachment worth it, again? How does that not make Dems look like they are mounting a witch hunt ala BENGHAZI? Other than to placate people who want a spectacle, even if it harms us, and does nothing whatsoever to get him out of office prior to 2020, and takes time and resources away from legislative activities that actually mitigate the harm this POTUS is doing?

You seem to also ignore the fact that the investigations are ongoing, and might produce some charges against him.

This is no different than the Dems who were raging against Al Gore for "giving up" after SCOTUS refused to accept any further recounts. There was no higher court than SCOTUS to appeal to, but that fact didn't seem to sink in among those who wanted a whipping boy for their feelings of helplessness and disbelief.

Democrats don't have time to spoon feed fact averse angry people at this point in history. We have to get to work on doing things that actually make sense and will do some actual good. You may not know that it took YEARS to get impeachment on the table for Nixon, and that took the cooperation of Republicans in the Senate willing to go against the POTUS. We don't have that now.

WE MAY NEED TO VOTE HIM OUT IN 2020. If you can't wait that long, you may want to move to a different country, or turn off your computer, TV, radio, and conversations with informed Demcorats B 4 2 LATE.

Steven Miller, purged both the head of ICE and the DHS Secretary as a beginning of a restructure of DHS. Way too much power in the hands of someone so green. But it is in keeping with the dysfunctional nature of the Trump administration. But like so much else, is this restructuring of DHS permitted by the statutes that created DHS. The roll-out is so far a work in progress.

The young man of 32 had arrived. He and his patron immediately meshed..lbecause Hitler was “always ready to take the most eccentric ideas seriously and put them into effect with that fearlessness with which he etched himself so indelibly on the world’s memory.”

The burning question is:

What percentage of the War Plans have been completed?

Once the judicial is sufficiently compromised, who, how, and when will end this devolution of all our ancestors toiled and even died for to create.

What's worse than what she's already done? I shudder to think what "worse" or "tougher" could be. I really do. This is extremely scary.
