Behind the scenes: Kirstjen Nielsen sacked by tweet

Axios

Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen brought her resignation letter with her when she met President Trump in the White House residence yesterday afternoon, top sources tell Axios.

Inside the room: She wasn't intent on quitting but was prepared to, sources tell us. The meeting went poorly, and Trump didn't even let her announce her "resignation." While she was racing to put out the letter (not that different from one she wrote after midterms), Trump tweeted that she "will be leaving her position."

"She was undercut at every turn," a source close to DHS said. "She's done everything she can do. The White House is eating their own."

The border is the top issue on cable news which should delight Trump.

Apparently nicknamed "Neidermeyer," (see "Animal House&quot by many of those who know him, he was so offensive when interviewed in the early days of Trump's administration, he pretty much disappeared from public view. Some of his family (particularly an uncle, I think) are on record regarding his conservative and strange views and behavior. He seems to still wield a lot of power with Trump. Obviously Steven Miller is very bright (probably can run rings around Trump), but pretty warped person. Although he is Jewish, his ideas seem right out of the Nazi playbook. A perfect sycophant for Trump's needy persona, let's hope there are no more Steven Miller's lurking around the White House. One is much too much.

Especially the hair, if Miller would grow his longer. The stuff he dabbed on top of his head didn't work.

Kirstjen Nielsen was incompetent and mean. Trump is even more incompetent and even meaner. Those are the qualifications he is looking for.

Trump can do all things in his own mind.

When you work for a scatterbrained shitheel like Trump, you have to be prepared for anything. Which begs the question, how stupid do you have to be to work for Trump in the first place.

Who in their right mind doesn't understand that the vindictive buffoon will not throw them under the bus when the time comes?

This is what is so interesting about the MAGA crowd, I believe they believe they are exempt of all the crap the administration does that affects everyone, somehow they think it won't apply to them, like filing taxes and finding out that for the 1st time you will have to pay, if they are successful taking away the ACA that they and their kids will still have coverage because they voted for the buffoon.

Amazing!!!

My apologies to those that clean toilets for a living. Thank you for your service. You have contributed more to my quality of life than the entire Trump administration.

It's like one that stereotypical playboy who woos them and tells them whatever he thinks they want to hear and makes them believe they are the one in his life, until he's done with them. He does it to all those women and the students who he conned into his "university" and all those people he has thrown under the bus in his business and political lives. He uses all their credibility and then throws them out. He's a user.
Oh, and to the point, none of them seem to get it. After he uses up and throws out person after person, somehow they seem to convince themselves that it won't happen to them, so they stay on and lie, cheat and commit crimes for him.

Hey, all you kids in cages courtesy of Kirstjen, let's hear a round of sobs and keening for poor Kirstjen and the terrible way her boss treated her for all this time. Everyone, come on! "We love you, Kirstjen! We love you, Kirstjen!" You there! I know you're crying for your missing mother, so cut it out. Fer crissakes, you're almost three years old. Grow up!
