She has the sense to realize the PR nightmare the separations were, and how bad it would be for the Trump Bund if they were brought back. Trump doesn’t give a shit about that.

This administration reminds me of Pottsylvania in the Bullwinkle cartoons, and their efforts to export “mean” because it was the only natural resource they had.
