Washington state man charged with anti-Semitic bomb threats, plans: report
A Washington state man has been charged with threats to bomb or injure property after allegedly posting plans for an anti-Semitic mass murder online, The Daily Herald of Everett, Wash., reported Monday.
Dakota Reed was arrested in December following a tip from the Anti-Defamation League regarding his Facebook posts. Police say Reed registered seven different accounts under fake names and used them to post violent fantasies and apparent references to a planned mass shooting.
Im shooting for 30 Jews. No pun needed. Long ways away anyways. See you Goys, he wrote in a November post, according to the Herald. Ten days later he posted under the saem account, We cant vote away what our fathers tried to, we must spill blood."
Reed also made references to pulling a Dylann Roof, the white supremacist who murdered nine African-American worshippers in a Charleston, S.C., church in 2015. In December, he made a video showing off sights on an AR-15 rifle and vowing to commit a school shooting, according to the Herald.
