He may try to get his cult foaming at the mouth and he may try to get his closest pals to break the law for him but in the end he would have to leave. There are going to be more govt workers who will enforce the laws instead of breaking them. The police and military would never allow him or his cult to gather much steam before being controlled and possibly arrested.

the government. And he is currently getting help from the GOP in Congress and Barr at DOJ.

Until this Clown is held accountable to the law, he will continue to chip away at our institutions.

Consider that there are Cabinet members who are "acting" and not confirmed; and this gives him the power to work around Congress. Because the GOP controlled Senate will not reign him in.

Remember the run-up to election day was nothing but a stream of "its rigged" speeches by him, laying the groundwork for a contested election and a huge mess for the country.

He already planted that seed 3 years ago and I have ZERO doubt that if he loses in 2020, the run up to the vote will be screaming like a stuck pig that voter fraud and "rigged" elections are the reason why he would be on the losing end...not a flailing economy for the lower 90%, not a lack of any REAL achievements in office, not his own bigotry and hate, not the fact that a half-eaten ham-sandwich would be a better option against him...

Trump shall become synonymous with treason the same way "Benedict Arnold" is now...I just hope it is without widespread violence and bloodshed...if I were a person of minority status, be it race, age, religion, sexual preference, or anything else MAGAts hate, I would not be out and about on the Wednesday after a Trump loss, I'll tell anyone that!

Anyone who sees all those cabinet changes and "Acting" roles in his administration suggests that he's using a strategy that may not be in the country's interest.

Cohen expresses concern Trump won't take no for an answer in 2020

In his closing remarks, former Donald Trump attorney Michael Cohen said he is afraid that if Donald Trump loses the election in 2020, there will not be a peaceful transition of power. Feb. 27, 2019

Whether he wins or loses, it's going to be a shitshow. He will not go willingly and his base will not accept his loss and will turn on the rest of us.

If he starts acting in a way that is destructive, someone among those weak GOP bitches will stop him. Even Mitch McConnell took a stance with him the other day when he said that the GOP was NOT going to initiate a new healthcare plan prior to the 2020 election.

private (mercenary) consultant/soldiers working for him.
Erik wants to make money by outsourcing those consultants.
But,
Erik does not want to die.
And if (on Trump's request or just in support of Trump)
Erik decides to fight the U.S. Government,
Even with the support of Trump's deplorable base that might want to take up arms to keep Trump in power,
I can assure you - that Erik does not want to die.
And that would be the outcome.

Either in Democratic forums or in Republican forums. Goes back to the Clinton years. So far both sides have an accuracy rate of 0%.

Short answer: No.

Long answer: Revolutions don't start at the bottom. They start at the second highest level. For this to happen, Trump would need a team that was fiercely loyal to him. Anyone on that direct team that wasn't, would be dispatched quickly, or if he escaped, HIS loyal forces would fight other loyal forces. As would their reports on down the line. Civil war.

Trump has no such loyalty. His directs are essentially a revolving door. And the grassroots are have no direction or leadership.

Result: Trump will leave office on time, just like all 44 of his predecessors.
