Trump is all about his vanity

Today has finally shown what Trump’s entire life and presidential policies is about nothing more than his immense vanity. When he wants something, which is nothing more than a vain desire to coddle his every desire, he fires people no matter how much they want to please him.

When his appointees are stopped in their tracks by the law, he takes their inaction very personally. If they don’t just cavalierly break the law to please him he gets rid of them and looks for someone who will gladly break the law but only for him, on his command. Their job is to fulfill his vanity. His only goal is to get what he wants when he wants it.

Not getting his wall doesn’t hurt the country at all. Not one bit. He knows that his base will ignore that he didn’t get the wall. He won’t lose a single supporter over not getting the wall. The only reason he is going meaner is out of unadulterated vanity.

And for no other reason than his vanity more people will suffer and die. This is insane.

His authoritarianism comes from just wanting his way. If he just believed in authority he wouldn’t let anyone break his laws. He puts brown children in cages, but thinks White Supremacists are fine people who are above the law. He’s spent his life breaking laws which shows he has nothing but contempt for the law. But he wants to decide what the law is, as long as he is the one making the laws. Laws which would ensure he benefits first and foremost.
