..................................................................
One of Carlsons remaining advertisers on Monday night was the Ark Encounter, the $92 million Kentucky theme park built by creationist Ken Ham.
The controversial theme park was built with millions in government subsidies wrecking Grant County.
Attendance has reportedly collapsed at the park.
Ham has blamed atheists and the press for reporting on poor attendance numbers.........................................

In between elections, it's the only REAL power we all have. Marching in the streets, while commendable, does exactly jack shit.
Gotta start hitting these fuckers in their pocketbooks.
Here's a list of places to start ... saddened to see that Progressive ... is a major advertiser on Faux. I may have to find a new homeowners/car insurance company. Of course before I went to Progressive I had another company even higher on the list of shitheel corporations.
If I do cancel, I will be VERY SURE to tell the person on phone taking my cancellation order EXACTLY why I'm moving to their competitors. As should everyone who undertakes any similar action.

(33,643 posts)You've never done 'business with', ever?
And it was unrelated to them being a Fox advertiser?
Never paid to see a Disney film/video? Never bought a Procter and Gamble product, nor taken a drug made by Bayer, Pfizer, or Glaxo Smith Kline? Never bought a Ford/Chrysler/Honda/Acura/Fiat/Subaru? Never bought a policy from Liberty Mutual/Allstate/Esurance/Progressive? Never been to Expedia/Angie's List/Home Advisor sites? Never bought products at Ace Hardware?
Gotta say, that's impressive.

(7,300 posts)I stopped buying from shitty businesses and quit being a typical consumer way before it was cool. Poverty and tragedy has a way of reshaping a person and changes your priorities in life. No car, t.v., traditional home and a preference towards sunrises, sunsets, used books and long walks make boycotting very easy.

Seriously I know 3 people who went there. A 90 year old on a Tour, a Baptist Preacher and his wife, from Kentucky. He carries a concealed weaopn. Guess it is getting pretty dangerous down there in rural Ky.

sneaking in a box of cold Chick-fil-A after riding hundreds of miles siting on a My Pillow 'cause I got bad hemorrhoids from eating Chic-fil-A, but I did get to see a fake painting of Republican Jesus?

Oh, wait.....
Never mind.

To be fair to the nutter... with climate change going down, building yourself an emergency ark is probably not the craziest thing one can do anymore.
