Today is the Israeli Knesset Election

Likud (Netanyahu) and a RW coalition vs. Blue & White (Benny Gantz) and a center-left coalition. The two core Parties are tied in the last polling, but the RW coalition is expected to win more seats overall.

Polls close at 2 PM Eastern; exit polls will be released at that point.

I am not naive' enough to believe the election is not "in the bag", but I'd dearly love to think not.

If polls close around 9-10 p.m. how would they know that. Also, Gantz is slightly ahead in the poll ratings. But alas, like the USA, he need a substantial win because RWers are known to steal, cheat, oppress.

...you make an estimate of turnout based on actual numbers and past patterns.
