Long story short, Nunes apparently is furious that his hometown newspaper ran an article titled, “A yacht, cocaine, prostitutes: Winery partly owned by Nunes sued after fundraiser event” in May of 2018.

On social media, that Fresno Bee article is getting a lot of attention, and thanks to Nunes’ lawsuit, has spawned the hashtag, #YachtCocaineProstitutes, which is the number one trending topic on Twitter.

Rep. Nunes is again being mercilessly mocked as a result.

1. Nunes and his lawyer are complete nitwits. Really.

They seek an injunction that would require the Bee to take down the article from its website, as if that will make it invisible to the world. In the meantime, I'm sure the Bee's website is getting tons of hits from people looking up the article, which is completely innocuous and not remotely libelous. Indeed, it appears that Nunes lawyer has misrepresented the article in any number of respects. He's going to be eaten alive in court.
