In the midst of all the dishonesty, arrogance, hypocrisy and wanton cruelty spewing from

just about any political commentary program you care to name, let's take just a moment to be thankful for our DEMOCRATIC HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES!

Speaker Pelosi, Schiff, Cummings, Nadler, "Auntie Maxine"--- I'm sure I'm overlooking someone, but HAVE MERCY! Where would we be if the Blue Wave of 2018 had not swept these and other Democrats into positions where they could stick their fingers into the dike until help arrives in 2020?

It almost makes me sick to remember it, because it felt like 2016 all over again, only worse. Just as shocking and surprising, but in 2016 I couldn't have imagined how much worse he would get, and in 2018 I had an idea of how dreadful the stakes really were.

It was almost an out-of-body experience. I could not believe it was happening again. I am grateful down to my bones that we had the night we did, even if it took a while to become clear. Thank goodness for the Democratic House. I truly believe that 2018 saved our country--at least for a little while.

I just hope they start playing tough like the GOP does so well. This is not the time to take the high road or wait until 2020 for this BS admin to have the breaks put on them.
