Keith is "incredibly wealthy" & loves his dogs - not so much feelly about Rachel and KORNACKI

Well, can totally relate about ingrates we hired and mentored and who decided in their '90s "Survivor" way that we could *get OFF THE ISLAND*!1 Plus, we've heard how when careers end in the media, it's a *DISAPPEARED* kind of thing - your calls don't get returned and your name isn't mentioned.

Keith Olbermann: MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow and Steve Kornacki ‘Washed Me Out’ of Their Past
In a BBC podcast, former MSNBC host Keith Olbermann criticizes Rachel Maddow and Steve Kornacki for lack of gratitude, and boasts he once demanded $12 million from the network.

Lloyd Grove

.... “The bottom line for me is I contributed to their success and I was correct in my assessment. If I have any animosity toward it, it is that many of them have washed me out of their past in order to make it look like I did not have any influence in getting them to where they are,” Olbermann complained to Atkins during almost 10 hours of conversation that Atkins recorded from early 2018 through October, and the BBC whittled down to a six-part podcast series titled Texting Keith Olbermann. ....

As Texting Keith Olbermann suggests, he’s incredibly wealthy, owns a fabulous penthouse with breathtaking views of Central Park, and seems ecstatically happy living with several small dogs which he calls “the love of my life.” ....

Indeed, in the first episode, Atkins notes during the podcast that Olbermann has a penchant for feuding, and tells him pointedly: “You have a reputation for falling out with people… Maybe I’ll say something that goes down badly and rubs you up the wrong way”—and prompts Olbermann to drop him like a rock.

In the end, predictably, that’s exactly what happened. ... ...,.

... He comes across in the series as extremely smart, entertaining, insightful, and yes, egomaniacal and deeply idiosyncratic.

But suddenly his texts to Atkins stopped.

“I’m sad about it,” Atkins said about the end of a beautiful friendship.

I mean, they have jobs to do. I like KO, but he's sounding like a bitter old windbag.

I dig him! He gets pissed off and isn't afraid of the repercussions. Keith owned a condo in tRump Tower and couldn't sell if due to the fucking moron's unpopularity. I think he eventually sold it at a loss. If you look on his twitter account it is all about orphaned dogs and he is trying to find homes for them. He used to date Katie Tur for a few years too. I am a fan obviously.

He kept us sane during Bush and I am eternally grateful for that but he has incredible temper.

He did get Rachel the job and opportunity but I think all his craziness turned her off plus I would bet MSNBC wouldn’t like them to be friends anyway.

He is intelligent and talented and also complicated and flawed. I feel the same way about Elon Musk. I guess if I don't have to deal with the personal side, I can still admire their professional side.
