5. I think he tweeted or retweeted a video of Ilahn with video/photos of the WTC attacks woven in.

I didn't see the whole video, but I saw it mentioned in a tweet and only saw a split second of the video he tweeted.

This all stems from part of a quote from Ilhan with the words "Some people did some things" in reference to the terrorist attacks on 9/11. Now, you read that and maybe it sound a bit dismissive and cold, but it's of course being taking out of context by the Trump cultists. You take the whole thing in and it's clear what her intent was, and it wasn't as they are making it out be. That has stirred up them with another reason to go after her. The hashtag in question may be in response to Trump's tweet, or it may be in response to the whole thing in general.

I've looked around and gathered a little of the controversy. I believe I need to know the context of that one partial line. The pubs are so good at putting bits and pieces together to fit their agenda. It makes me furious. It is so dangerous.
