The only good news is that Barr is a total bore

I watched and listened and the man put me back to sleep. I doubt that many of The People found him any more "captivating."

rule of law on its ear. Barr just made history by scatterlng the entire concept of an INDEPENDENT justice department. Instead of working in the best interests of the US as another line in our system of checks and balances against abuse of power, he has realigned the DoJ as a subsidiary of the White House and a spokesman for Trump.

This is far from boring. We just witnessed a serious assault on our system of government, an unprecedented situation that has seriously weakened our fragile democracy and delivered unchecked power to Trump by placing him above the law.
