There doesn't have to be an underlying crime to commit obstruction

of justice. (I thought I heard some other people say the exact opposite but maybe they were referring to something else?)

Mueller: There doesn't need to be an underlying crime for there to be obstruction of justice. "The injury to the integrity of the justice system is the same regardless of whether a person committed an underlying wrong."

think it was Comey he asked to have his staff investigated for collusion.

didn't try and obstruct justice? Especially when it is written right there in Mueller's report?
