Booker tweets out searchable version of Mueller report to counter White House

Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) tweeted out a searchable version of special counsel Robert Mueller’s findings on Thursday, suggesting the Department of Justice intentionally made it "harder" for the public to read the nearly 400-page report.

“The Trump administration posted an unsearchable pdf of the Mueller report so it would be harder for you to read,” the Democratic presidential candidate posted Thursday, in reference to the report the Justice Department made available at 11 on Thursday morning. “We made it easier. Here’s a searchable version.”

The Justice Department issued the partially redacted report on Thursday following a press conference by Attorney General William Barr, who defended President Trump on the section of the Mueller probe focusing on obstruction of justice.

Between the press conference and the release of the full report, Booker tweeted from his campaign account: “The American people deserve the truth. Not spin from a Trump appointee. Release Mueller's full report now.”
