My worse devil side says let’s investiagte the effer for 2 years and drip shit out every news cycle. Hold hearings galore. Make him pay publicly and politically in 2020. Dems don’t need to start impeachment and have that used against them.

and the casual and swing voters will ask if he was really so corrupt why was he not impeached? and convincing them because of the Senate will be a tough sell. We need the spectacle of an impeachment to educate low information voters to his level of corruption. So many people keep acting like this is some kind of breaking news and that impeachment is going to be some kind of epiphany.

Newsflash: neither is true.

The vast majority of this information is already public knowledge, already in the public sphere, has already been beat to death, and nearly everyone has already made up their minds about Trump one way or another. You think moving it to a different forum is going to magically change people's minds? The same people who haven't paid any attention to the past 2+ years?

I'm sorry, but I just don't get this line of thinking. If they haven't been convinced by now, impeachment or no impeachment isn't going to matter. It's ridiculous to think people are going to decide to vote for Dems on whether or not they pursue impeachment, and not based on issues and the shitstorm that is the Trump administration.
