So the proof of Trump's obstruction....

Is the Mueller report itself. Mueller and his team did not feel they had the time to make Trump testify because of all the threats to stop the investigation, defund it, fire
Mueller, etc. He did not feel he could complete the investigation and thus make a definitive conclusion...

If he "asked him to do it", then Shart and his coterie of ambulance-chaser wannabes would stall and stall and stall until (as actually happened) they agreed to let Dumpy answer some questions in written form. The result could have been predicted - 19 answers of "I don't recall".

If on the other hand Mueller had tried to subpoena Shithead, he could have resisted (legally), forcing the issue to go to the Supreme Court (some time in 2021 or so). And even then, assuming for the sake of argument that the Supremes agreed that Dipshit had to testify, then all he has to do is waltz in and refuse to answer any question by taking the Fifth Amendment! Checkmate and match.

Mueller avoided a costly, time-consuming Phyrric battle which he knew he couldn't win.

Thus proving obstruction. Do you think what will come out of this whole thing will be an real effort to curtail the Executive Branch?

wed to Trump that I doubt they will join in any meaningful legislation to try to curtail him.
