If the House decides to begin impeachment hearings, would it be technically possible

for them to hire Mueller to lead them -- or be involved in some way?

Or would he have some kind of conflict?

Because I think some of the Republicans in the Senate might possibly be swayed by him -- depending on how well he does in the upcoming hearings, of course.

These are some of the same people who spent the last 18 months throwing him under the bus at every rumor. They've hitched their wagons to Trump for the long haul.

There might be a couple of exceptions like Murkowski, but nowhere near enough for a conviction. That's assuming the Senate leadership ever lets it get to a vote. I suspect they'd stonewall through November 2020.
