We should have blocked their efforts, but failed. Next time we need to be ready to counter their Russian, GOPer, etc. lies and hacking. We did it in 2018, and can do it in 2020.

(90,344 posts)... Putin's actions.
Obama did try to block their actions and he took action, it's a RWTP that we did nothing ... that's not true.
How in the hell are we going to be ready next time when Putin's whore is still in office !?!?
Russia's just going to sit 2020 out!?
Let the chips fall where they may?!
I'm not seeing the logic in letting Putin's Whore stay in office knowing Russia helped him get there in 2016.
what say you?

(54,770 posts)countering lies. We won in 2018 and in special elections after 2016. We got out the vote and we countered lies, something we didn't do in 2016. And, Democrats need to make sure they don't let Presidential candidates who lose in primaries influence their supporters to vote against Democratic nominee.

That doesn't mean accept what Russia did by helping Red Don here, it's illegal here what the Trump campaign did and at best Russia went to far in installing Putin's whore.

Those were state level elections where republican cheating allowed them to keep the senate in GA and FL.
I don't think 18 is a good example of "not cheating" seeing we don't control the senate due to KGOP cheating.
Look, I'm thinking dem numbers will overwhelm any kind of digital micro-purging or any other targeting Red Don's campaign can do next year but I would like to ... NOT ... take a chance with their guy in office if we can help it.
That doesn't make any sense to leave Putin's whore where he can do the most damage.
