Mcconnell will not bring them to a vote..our focus - vote for a majority DEM Senate, and WH 2020, hold the house....the house will be ready - having done their job, for the people, WE THE PEOPLE need to VOTE - our country depends on it.....

Infrastructure, education, equal rights, voting rights, immigration, WE CAN DO THIS!! -

When the house deems it appropriate, and consider what the Mueller Report (unredacted) actually reveals..impeach on FACTS... I refuse to lay down...your weapon IS YOUR VOTE (as she preaches to the choir) -

This Senate will never remove him from office. Prefer a strategy whereby the Dems obtain his financial info and go nuclear on his criminal financial shenanigans, in parallel to their impeachment hearings. A big fat smoking gun of insurance/tax/bank fraud or money laundering - something that even the GOP won't be able to ignore or excuse. Something that will spell electoral annihilation in November 2020 because even Trump voters understand that a billionaire cheating on his taxes or defrauding financial institutions is tainted goods. At which point, McTurtle tells Trump that he's going to be removed from office by the Senate if he doesn't resign or, perhaps, agree not to run in 2020.

I think that's what it'll take to excise the Trump malignancy: impeachment proceedings for obstruction in combination with disclosures of financial fraud.

may not, if we have a failed impeachment , we will have Trump claiming exoneration. Do we have the votes in the House. And what about the new moderates?

They only are going to at best be able to bring articles of impeachment up in the house. They don't have the votes to convict in the Senate, if McConnell even allows it to come up.

So they can only get halfway to impeachment. And the media, and Republicans will scream about it being a failure.

They can censure him in the house without the Senate.

Of course this scumbag should be impeached and removed from the office, but it's not going to happen. Bringing up articles of impeachment and not being able to convict is basically the same as Censure, but censure would be complete.

I think many here think the Senate will cave when they see the evidence but they won't. Republicans by and large don't care if Trump is a criminal. Thus, the Senate won't either,

Investigate, expose his sorry ass along with McConnell and the whole corrupt GOP. We can only do what we can with the power we have. If the senate wasn't so screwed up this would be a slam dunk - but it isn't.

Expose, expose, expose.. That is our best weapon.
