Kinda had to chuckle a bit. When I was transitioning out of the Army way back when I was put to work declassifying documents. I had a pretty high security clearance, I was in nuclear weapons.
The one rule they had for redaction was “don’t overdo it nobody wants to see a black page.” Usually blacking out a couple phrases or words sufficed. That was over 40 years ago it was really out of memory until I saw those pages.
