We need impeachment hearings in order to turn public opinion for impeachment.

You have to show the American people why Trump must be impeached. If the majority of Americans want Trump impeached that would put major pressure on the Republicans to vote for impeachment.

1. If the public doesn't support impeachment after the stuff in the Mueller report, there is not a lot

of hope enough of the public will ever support impeachment. But, give it a week or so. There was a lot of damning evidence in the Mueller report.

2. If we don't impeach we tell all the MAGATs that we agree with the tRump

spin, that the investigation was a hoax that totally exonerated tRump. Ds will not win over a single vote by allowing the criminal to get away with treason. In fact, we’ll lose votes among Ds who will just stay home out of disgust.

The hearings turned the public against Nixon, which made it politically possible to start the impeachment process. The only reason Nixon would probably have been convicted in an impeachment trial is that his approval ratings were about 25% by the time the Judiciary Committee voted on the articles.

They happily ingest whatever drivel you serve up to them, with a few exceptions: Madame Secretary, Colbert, Kimmel, MSNBC, and most of the netflix content.

6. I'm for it. The average American isn't going to read the Mueller report or watch committee hearings

on the internet or cspan. The average American will get their news about these things from their reliable sources and only hear what their sources want them to hear. The average American will watch impeachment proceedings broadcast on all the major networks, where they can have the Mueller report read to them and determine for themselves what tRump has done. They will see first hand the behavior of their Republican representatives, maybe some for the first time. Maybe they will get disgusted with their childish behavior and vote them out of office too.

Most people are still not paying much attention They are waiting for bombshell one liner headlines. The Mueller report doesn't really have that. But a impeachment hearing could make the evidence become more clear and make it abundantly clear Trump is a criminal and deserves to be impeached like no other President in history.
