Omar mocks Trump's claims of 'presidential harassment': 'Just lived through one!'

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) mocked President Trump's claims of "presidential harassment" prior to the release of special counsel Robert Mueller's redacted report on Thursday, saying she "just lived through one!"

Trump recently took aim at the first-term Muslim lawmaker regarding her remarks on the 9/11 terrorist attacks during a March speech to the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).

Omar, misstating when CAIR was started, said "CAIR was founded after 9/11, because they recognized that some people did something and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties."

Conservatives last week accused Omar of downplaying the terrorist attacks, and the president shared a video on Twitter that featured footage from the 9/11 attacks interspersed with Omar's comments.

Democrats accused Trump of inciting violence against Omar, who in November was one of the first two Muslim women elected to Congress.
