"It's perfectly despicable and shameful, says the ACLU, but also perfectly lawful."
PROVIDENCE -- Sondra Pierson was having a glass of wine at Parkside Rotisserie & Bar after work last Thursday when she saw something outside the window that shocked her.
Everyone in the restaurant turned around, and they were like, What? Is that for real? she said this week.
A beat-up old Cadillac with Massachusetts plates had parked near the front of the restaurant, and a man and a woman wearing Nazi paraphernalia had gotten out.
The man wore a red Make America Great Again hat and a red armband with a black swastika on it. The woman wore a matching armband and a swastika T-shirt.
I said out loud, Are you kidding me? said Pierson, who lives in Pawtucket and works in an office right next to Parkside Rotisserie on South Main Street.
The swastika-wearing pair crossed the street to the Holocaust Memorial, leaned on the various statues, took pictures and laughed, Pierson said.

Same at the state level.
Oh, same federally in Mass. with Warren, Markey, all Dem reps.
And Trump lost his home state. Big time. Never won shit there as a matter of fact.
Have a nice evening.

(5,042 posts)Look, I'm sorry, I'm enjoying my Democratic representation over here.
My guess is whatever state you're defending in your mind, two people walking around like this wouldn't even be reported in the Bugtussle penny saver. It would just be "Tuesday".

(11,949 posts)Until November Wisconsin was as red a state can be. Still very reddish purple with the legislature being republican and the recent election of a right winger to the supreme court.
So now the South stretches to the Canadian border?
How about we just stop stereotyping? There are shitty people everywhere.
But if where you happen to reside gives you a sense of superiority, well, how nice. Good for you.
RhodeIslandOne
(5,042 posts)I wasn't the one who started the "SEE! There are shitty people everywhere!" canard in this thread.
The fact is these two bozos can't make a dent in my area and I'm grateful as fuck for it. Meanwhile mindless zombies who don't dress or advertise like these two shitstains and look like "good people" are continuing to vote for Mitch and Rand, Steve King, Gomhert, Scalise, on and on, and of course Dump.

(31,261 posts)were not counted due the the mail snafus that the MAGA bomber caused. If people that mailed in ballots had ONLY taken advantage of Florida's 11 days of early voting before Election Day, we could very well have another governor in Florida, as well as still have Bill Nelson as a US Senator. Mississippi is a different deal, that state is really fucked up, I feel sorry for blue people that have to live in that shithole due to family and other reasons.

(63,849 posts)said they stood on top of the Holocaust Memorial giving the Hitler salute. So were they right to do that, freedom of expression.
What I wonder about is that they proudly exhibit their MAGA hats and swastikas and their allegiance to tRump, do they lack so much confidence and feel as though they are threatened if they don't wear their so called "hoods" not white but red.
Progressives or Liberals don't exhibit themselves like they do. We sort of blend in. Which is what diversity is, something they will never understand.
