snip of article:
The redacted Mueller report is damning in so many ways, and even a partial brief summary of what we know of Muellers conclusions would include the following:
1) Trump obstructed justice, but because of DOJ guidelines on indicting a sitting president he can't be prosecuted while in office.
2) It's Congress's job to provide justice.
3) The extensive and assiduous cover-up had a purpose, and hid something far more serious.
4) The cover-up largely succeeded.
5) There were many more criminal referrals to other jurisdictions, about most of which we as yet know nothing.
6) Given Barr's obstruction and the GOP's full complicity, this is a Constitutional crisis. Right now.
And this is the House Majority Leader:

Based on what we have seen to date, going forward on impeachment is not worthwhile at this point. Very frankly, there is an election in 18 months and the American people will make a judgement, House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer told @DanaBashCNN .
Steny Hoyer is saying hold your powder and throwing the ball to us Voters... .. WTF. Does he really want the American to make the call? Congress will be neutered and their power will be gone.

(25,471 posts)So many people (intentionally) ignore this part of his statement. Investigations are continuing both in and outside of Congress, Congress is requesting docs from Deutsche Bank and others, calling in Mueller, etc.
Calling for impeachment to begin at this very moment doesn't make much sense when evidence is still being gathered.

(23,002 posts)We can bring another artcle later. Seems there's more than enough right now to proceed. Apparently Sen Warren thinks so too. And I think there's going to be many more. Time is of the essence. If you know and fail to act, what then?
I fell for it, too, until I read exactly what he said.

In that case, it might be fine with him.
