Like FDR had "all we have to fear is fear itself" and JFK is remembered for "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country" (among other things), and we have Nixon on the other end of the spectrum with "I am not a crook!"...and now Donny Bonespurs has finally come out with a truly memorable pronouncement that is truly poignant and appropriate for his tenure: "I'm fucked."

Oddly enough, this is fairly close to what I said the night of 11/9/2016, after the election was called, speaking of us collectively as a nation. I turned to my wife and said, "welp...we're fucked."

Also I was thinking of ordering a red hat from one of those custom hats & shirts places, with that instead of the MAGA slogan. Just "I'm fucked" on the hat. I'm thinking of having a few of these made for some of my relatives; their 2016 campaign hats are getting kinda worn, and they'd probably like a new hat with a more up-to-date slogan from their Supreme Leader and all, right?
