The release of the Mueller Report, while not everything we may have wanted, was no Fitzmas level disappointment in any way.

(32,645 posts)Mueller has to be disappointed that he got so little support from Rod Rosenstein. In the end Rosenstein did nothing once Barr took over as AG.
The report we're reading is not only significantly redacted but also incomplete in many areas. We have to assume that Mueller understood what was happening (with Barr) and handed off most of the investigations to be completed elsewhere. It doesn't mean they were stopped, but it means we won't see any published reports on them.

There were two memos from DoJ to Mueller, after the initial one setting the scope of the investigation. What was in them? Instructions to narrow the focus? Inquiring minds.
