Declining Measles Vaccination May Cause Global 'Disastrous Consequences'

The U.S. government declared that the country was totally free from measles in 2000. At the time, hospitals did not see any transmission of the virus for more than 12 months.

However, due to the declining measles vaccine coverage, the U.S. as well as other countries that reported eliminating the disease in the recent years are again experiencing measles outbreaks. If vaccination continues to drop, infectious diseases experts warn that the world may see the disease return “in full force.”

since less people are vaccinating their kids. If it hasn't, there's iron-clad proof.

It just about did me in...

They're trying to be more subtle ("But how can we know for sure?" - "I'm just concerned..." - "We don't have all the information on the ingredients" etc. etc. etc.), but they still may as well be wearing a sign reading 'anti-vaxxer'...

And of course, the tried-and-true: "My next-door neighbor's best friend's landlord's garbage collector's cousin's baby got her vaccines and then was diagnosed with autism. Coincidence?"
