Chris Mathews: "the safe bet was to vote for the Iraq war, the safe bet is to not to impeach" (sic)

Chris Mathews: "... the safe bet was to vote for the Iraq war, the safe bet is to not to impeach" (sic)

I 100% with Mathews on this in context similar to the Iraq war vote which was safe but stupid ... the vote not to impeach is safe but stupid.

I'm not into safe but stupid, been that and got a trillion dollars worth of debt and 10s of thousands of dead people for it.

OK, they should outline what we need to do next so we're crossing T's and dotting I's but lets include impeachment at the end.

There's no way America should accept the Russians helping Donald Trump win ... ANOTHER ... American election.

What say you?

My understanding is with impeachment hearings the witness's are under oath and under subpoana to speak so their shitfaced attitude.

They actually voted to give Bush authority based on false information he fed them; not that same thing, even though it's somehow managed to get twisted around that way......

he loves a dog & pony show. Does he say how the Republicans will obstruct the impeachment hearings? How is all that Lindsay Graham high drama handled? And, what happens when it gets to the Senate? And, what is most likely to result in criminal charges. And, what about the Justice Department, and the courts? Can any of those bodies of government be trusted to do the right thing...like ..follow the law? I don't care what Congress decides, but I sure hope they take their time, and weigh all their options. Especially when they can't possibly know all the material they have to deal with. Tweety sucks. I bet though, that if Republicans get caught up in the investigations they will want impeachment hearings in a heart beat.
