(102,351 posts)Tribe is brilliant and I follow his twitter feed regularly, but he does not always seem to make his points so clearly in tv interviews, where he can get cut off or distracted by "poor" hosting. I think Ari wanted to help Tribe make absolutely clear why he (Tribe) felt differently about Clinton impeachment vs. the current situation with Trump.

(51,626 posts)I forgot that. The GOP House got the Starr report and took a vote without conducting hearings at all.
The whole comparison is apples and oranges. That was potitical. It was over a blow job, not a foreign enemy attacking our country (which is what Russia did...they attacked us and that must be the issue). This is a NATIONAL SECURITY issue, not a political one.
