I recently saw Poetic Justice(1993) and I really liked it. He also directed Shaft(2000) and Boys In The Hood(1991) and many others.

We just lost Luke Perry for the same thing. These men are far too young. I hope John can recover.

...First reports labeled it a "mild" but he's since lapsed into a coma and his mother is in the process of becoming his conservator.

(53,843 posts)5. He can recover. A friend of mine had a stroke and was taken quickly to the hospital.
He's an educator and is back in the classroom and playing golf with us on the weekends after 6 months of therapy.
He said it was like lightening striking his brain.
