It was not "leaked" to him. It was leaked to two others, who then informed the author. His wording is precise.

it is the second round of leaks. Remember just before the media reported that some of the Mueller Team was unhappy about Barr's 3.5 page letter, I had told you leaks would begin? That was round one.

Also note that in both cases, the investigators told others, who then told reporters. This, of course, is their way of doing what the criminals do per triangulating -- Russia sends stolen files to Wikileaks, who shares information with Trump people.

This is extremely important. It will, as people here suggest that it should, come out in testimony before Congress.

Also, read the whole thing. It's beneficial, for example, to read entire sentences, rather than isolated phrases (like Barr), when evaluating Murray's sourcing.
