https://www.huffpost.com/entry/fox-news-obama-trump-double-standard_n_5cb6a8c0e4b0ffefe3b8ce3eA new supercut video shows Fox News hosts slamming former President Barack Obama for the same actions that they either ignore or praise when it comes to President Donald Trump.
The footage, assembled by NowThis News, highlights personalities on the right-wing network attacking the former president for golfing, tweeting, executive actions, criticizing the press and being almost obsessed with cable TV, among other things. However, the footage was edited to remove Obamas name ― and with that context excised, most of the commentary could just as easily refer to Trump:

(249 posts)The exact moment when they say they aren't republicans, both sides do it, drain the swamp, blah, blah, blah.
I've cut out all the Trumpistas in my immediate frame of reference.
If a stranger affirms their allegiance to Trump, then I know they aren't acting in good faith. It cuts through the bullshit: a Trump supporter outs themselves as a person of low character. I won't engage them. Simply not worth the life, time, or effort. It's the same way I wouldn't suffer a child molester or a thief: Trump supporters go in the same category.

(6,176 posts)It's easy to see Trump in all their words, but I can't for the life of me see Obama in anything they said.
I have two brother-in-laws and their wives that live a couple hundred miles apart and have not communicated for decades.
But, they both parroted the same FOX statement to my wife and I when we visited them at different times during and after the 2016 election.
They said, "We suffered for eight years under Obama."
And yet they still support Trump to this day despite all the shit he has said and done.
No suffering there.
This brings new meaning to the words FOX news programming.
