Why the WH would use such a cold, lifeless photo of a woman sitting alone while clearly something is going on elsewhere in the room (look where the mics and cameras are trained) is telling. They do not understand what actual relationships are. They understand objectification, even when they are the objects. They cannot imagine that people feel excluded, not included in this “Birthday wish.”

I saw a bit of 45’s NRA speech this morning He mentioned her birthday and as the audience applauded I automatically expected them to sing Happy Birthday, the way crowds do. But he stepped on it, even cutting off the applause by going on with his rant. He. Does. Not. Care. Warm human interaction does not feed him thecway it does normal people.
