Otherwise, the sick person masquerading as the president, will continue to spread his lies and continue to incite his followers and supporters in his desperate attempt to escape all oversight.
The sooner they confront him, the better it will be for our country.
They need to act. Do something. Charge them with criminal contempt if they refuse to cooperate and send their charges to AG Barr and the DoJ. If they refuse to cooperate with Congress' requests, charge the AG with obstruction of justice and take them to Court.
They should not continue this charade with this Donald Trump. His plan is to incite and divide and tear down Robert Mueller and Don McGahn. Congress should try to move up the hearings with these two individuals, in my opinion.

(16,785 posts)The blatant obstruction is clear.
Trump is acting like a Dictator who cares not a lick for the Rule of Law. All the Democratic candidates for President need to be unified on this message that the time for playing nice is over when the subject is Trump..

He is not well. He is a very sick person, in my opinion.
But, he is a dangerous person.

(67 posts)He needs to spell out in an open session, all the collusion he found. As an example we know Cohen was in Prague (his phone was pinging), it's another RWNJ lie that he wasn't. Mueller can clear all of that up..

(67 posts)MF45 will do anything to stop Mueller from testifying. He's gonna expose all the Barr lies. No collusion my ass.

(56,828 posts)I also want to hear from Mueller's top lieutenants as well - the ones that helped draft the summary statements that were supposed to be released to the public. The 12, 13, 17 or 18 "Angry Democrats" as Trump calls them.
I think Mueller might be too much of a straight arrow to openly contradict Barr in a public hearing.

(111,095 posts)Mueller led the "witch hunt" against him. Of course, if it was a witch hunt, it could not be called a legitimate investigation. If it was not a legitimate investigation, then it could not possibly exonerate him. It would have to be a legitimate investigation in order to claim it cleared him.

(7,403 posts)They need Rosenstein and Barr on the stand before Mueller to keep them from refuting Mueller. Keep the hammer for Mueller. Think strategically.
