Most of his guests-- who are made to look clueless-- are gracious enough to laugh it off, but it gets a little old, especially when they are there to talk the day's political news relative to their expertise. It is too frequently cringe-worthy and embarrassing. I'm not slamming rap music or rappers, but I watch the show for the legal and political commentary.

I can’t remember his name.

Nothing against comedians, or spicing up a show to bring in more viewers (to a point), but neither the rappers nor the comedian seemed to fit with the theme of the show.

The music he grew up with. I don't think it adds anything to his show, but that's just me.

I just think it is self-indulgent for him to bring on musicians.I wonder how many people find this interesting. I actually think Ari is starstruck.

After the commercial.

Everyone I know now is sick of his rapper schtick. Turn him off. I was on the phone so missed it.

I expect to have people worth listening to on national tv. If I wanted reality shows or cartoons, I wouldn't put on msnbc.

I think there are some big stories that could be a better use of his air time.

A guy like GZA would be fantastic on the show. Maybe he's had him on, I don't know.

But Ari seems to be doing it to show how cool he is, and he brings on a lot of guys who are just happy to be on TV.

Didn't he say in the last few days he's a musician himself? Thought i caught that in a slight reference.
We do need the news, but, we are all liberal thinkers here. Big brains, open minds, and indulgent of each others humanity.

I'm not a fan of rap...to each his own, I don't want to make a "value judgement" and offend anyone else's tastes. It's just not my thing. So while Ari has a great deal of fun with it...it's his show, so more power to him...I tend to lean more toward the 9 to midnight hour on MSNBC.

It's his show, he can host whoever he wants.

I love old movies too, but everything on TCM doesn't interest me.
So I change the channel.

Easy enough to do.
