He did not pick one of the Daily Doubles tonight and it is already a runaway before Final Jeopardy

1. I thought he got the one in the first round early

can't remember for sure.
He did get blocked out in Double jeopardy.


He just keeps rolling along.
the young fellow in the middle looked like he might mount a challenge early on, but fizzled rather quickly. Ended at $0 if I recall

bet all and lost all.

I watch mostly for the questions to see what I can answer. Concentrating on the questions I sometimes lose track of the actual game.

When most players bet a thousand or two on a daily double it hardly gets my attention.
James like a few others in the past gets my attention with their gutsy bets. James has been a delight for me to watch because when he hits a DD he puts it all on the line.

I always thought that was what Merv Griffin had in mind when he created the game.

6. Yep - I think that happens with most of us

I am only paying attention to who selects the double because of James' betting - it sureis fun.
That said he really is above average - he ran away with it again without selecting one daily double tonight.

3. Our TV has been showing the NFL draft for the last two days.

Rats!

5. ABC Miami showed it elsewhere

but we watched on CBS Puerto Rico.
Heard someone on ABC saying they should not have cut it for the Draft because James has made it a competitive sport - I did laugh
