STONEWALLING: Barr's appearance at House hearing now in doubt because of dispute with Democrats

(CNN)Attorney General William Barr has warned Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee he won't show up to this week's highly anticipated hearing if they stick to the format the chairman has proposed for the questioning, according to a committee source with knowledge of the matter.

Skipping this week's hearing would amount to a dramatic escalation in the growing fight between the Trump administration and House Democrats over a range of oversight requests, including over access to the unredacted report from special counsel Robert Mueller, the subject of Thursday's hearing.

But it's still possible they could reach a deal by Thursday, meaning Barr might ultimately show.

House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler told CNN on Sunday morning that Barr would not "dictate the format of the Judiciary Committee."

He doesn't work for America anyway. Barr cares so much about the top DOJ administration, he can personally pay their salaries himself. He's got that sweet Russian funding hiding somewhere, with his name on it.

but they can cut amounts from next year's budget. All spending originates in the House.

All spending originates in the House... but the Senate still has to vote on it too... and the President has to sign it.

There's zero chance that they can line-out the salary of the Attorney General - nor survive an election season where they appear to be gutting the Department of Justice.

Bluff. He is a liar and will cover up any GOP's wrong doing. He puts party over country.

What a relief. We can forget about eminent domaining all that land along the Mexican border.
