Wonder why TrumpBarr so willing to let Mueller testify?

Think about it. If Mueller, who I have elevated to a god and pinned all my hopes on for justice, was going to blow this thing wide open, wouldn't they be silencing him?

Barr said something today that made me think...."Mueller letter snitty, bet it was his staff who wrote it." (paraphrasing).

What if Mueller staff was filled with people who just KNOW Trump is guilty and Mueller tamped them down? And 30 year old friends lamented about it - "there's nothing there, Bill..but my staff is out of control."

about, merely said he felt the Barr's summary didn't capture the essence of his report.

At best the essence of his report is that Obstruction might have occurred. Heck, we all know it occurred, we saw it unfold over two years. But GOPers don't care, and a good number of Democrats don't see it as serious either.

The biggest problem with Mueller's report is that he says he found no evidence of collusion/conspiracy. How anyone paying attention could say that is beyond me. I don't think he's going to change his mind on that, and Barr and trump know it.

Mueller let America down, unless he repents appearing before the House or Senate, this thing, is sadly, all but done. We can jump up and down, yell, drop a million subpoenas, etc. It won't matter.

leads to trump being untouchable and the fact he will not pay for his crimes. And the most horrible part, none of it affects his approval ratings. Looked at trend, just since report released...he dropped to 37% (at report release) now back up to a dangerous 43-45. Read somewhere that he can win with 45.

Because this all appears to be counterproductive. Because we didn't scream impeachment on Day 1 (Mueller report). Never thought I'd say it - but time to focus on protecting the votes in purple states.

Last poll I saw 66% of Dems favor impeachment. It was way up there in 80's in December. Unfortunately, because of misguided ideas, we did nothing.

Exec privilege or something.

Maybe John Dean should call him and say, "There was another atty general who kept invoking that. His name was John Mitchell. Google him."

look incompetent enough that the general populace won't buy his testimony. That seems desperate to me. He wrote that letter. Remember Mueller and his staff have the evidence. All of it.

Mueller coming forth and spilling it all. Barr wouldn't put himself out there like that if he knew what the end result would be. Trump wouldn't allow Barr to exist if major trouble down the road.
