I saw this story at a Milwaukee TV station, paramedic shows up for training, is drunk off his ass, and has a gun.
Paramedic accused of going to training drunk, with gun
Police said Jeffrey Munson,58, of Elm Grove, was intoxicated and armed with a loaded gun when he went to training last month.

(146,338 posts)We just had a deadly shooting here in St. Paul at a local bar. 2 AM, closing time. Some idiot shot someone just outside the bar and killed him. 2 AM. What are the odds that the shooter was sober? Slim, I'm guessing.
Probably both the shooter and victim were drunk. I can't remember ever seeing someone stayin in a bar until closing who wasn't.
Drunk people with guns are very, very dangerous, and very, very stupid, as a rule.
