When you're good, good things happen to you. (Old adage.) The tide is turning. Congress needs to GO TO WORK like they did yesterday....EVERYDAY, until this thing is turned around. They did great, but, pressure needs to be firm and continuous until we are headed in the right direction again.
I'm not beating congress up. I was proud yesterday. I was proud during the kavanaugh hearings, I'm proud generally of us, but, recognize the benefits they get representing us. It's hard, but, they wanted the job and we voted based on their promises to really work hard. It won't last forever, but, this summer has to be the summer of our MAJOR discontent. They are doing good, but, one thing a week doesn't quite get it for 200k a year plus another 100k in bennnies. Let's go.
Nadler saying two weeks on TRMS last night is a perfect example, we get the momentum, and then we allow delays that take the steam out of the forward movement and allow the gop time to sabotage and spin. This summers going to be hard, but, we have the people. Mr Raskin and a few others really impressed me yesterday. LET'S KEEP THE PRESSURE ON HARDCORE.
