Impeachment is just as likely, if not more so, to fire up the Dem base, and demoralize Trump's possibly suppressing GOP vote in 2020, as some folks wake up to his bullshit and decide to sit this one out.

The higher voter turnout, the better chance we have of winning.

12. There's no reason to believe impeachment would demoralize Trump's base.

These are the same people who blew a gasket at "deplorables" and responded by getting out the vote. Impeachment wouldn't demoralize them; it would mobilize them.

His base is comprised of some of the most loyal groups of voters in the electorate. If nothing he's done so far has turned them, impeachment certainly won't.
