Donald Trump Reportedly Cheated to Beat an 11-Year-Old in Golf

A veteran sportswriter who has written a book exploring President Donald Trump’s relationship to the game of golf reports that Trump once cheated to beat an 11-year-old child.

Rick Reilly spoke with Vox about his book Commander in Cheat, and related the most outrageous alleged cheating story he knew about Trump.

Reilly noted Trump currently advertises he won a 2018 club championship at his Mar-a-Lago Club in Florida, but wasn’t there for the actual tournament due to peace talks with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un in Singapore.

When Trump returned to the club, he spotted the winner, film financier Ted Virtue, playing a round of golf with his son “who I think is 10 or 11 years old,” Reilly said.

Reilly then alleges Trump challenged Virtue and his son to play six holes for the club championship.

“They get to a hole with a big pond on it. Both Ted and his son hit the ball on the green, and Trump hits his in the water. By the time they get to the hole, Trump is lining up the kid’s ball. Only now it’s his ball and the caddie has switched it,” Reilly said.

Reilly said Virtue’s son tried to protest, but the president’s caddie said “No, this is the president’s ball; your ball went in the water.”

Trump then made the putt and declared himself the club champion, according to Reilly.

The bottom line is that the entire Trump family are nothing more than low life trash. Trump's father was a champion asshole, racist and cheat who instilled his son with the same vile lack of basic morality. It is impossible to deal with a person who is amoral since they don't have a conscience. He is cut out of the same rotten putrid garbage as was Hitler and his ilk. I believe that most would agree that Hitler should have never been born, but since he was it was a failure of his fellow mankind to condemn him they share in his guilt. People who have been elected to office who are not only failing to hold him accountable share, but applaud his evilness share in this tragedy.

There is no god damned "Mar-A-Lago Club" Golf Course.

Trump plays at a course he owns located almost 4 miles away from Mar-A-Lago, situated south of the WPB Airport.

Geographical fuckups like this annoy me!

Doesn't diminish the fact that we have a fucking toddler for a president, but there you go.

or not, then jumps in his cart and speeds off down the fairway so he can get to his ball out of sight, or at least way ahead of the others he is supposedly playing with.

Knowing that, if I was playing with him, I would park my cart behind his, walk up to it and take the key out.

Then I would be restrained by his security as I headed toward him with an upraised 5-iron in my hands.

It's 75 miles away from Los Angeles, CA. His "Trump National Philadelphia" isn't even in Pennsylvania, it's in New Jersey. Trump lies like that phony head of "hair" on his head. He has to lie. He has to be the "best" at everything, even if it means cheating an 11 year old child.

I've read "Commander in Cheat". The hundreds of examples of his cheating are stupefying, because everyone knows he's cheating, but many treat it as "entertainment" and shrug it off. I doubt many of these people he's played "golf" with voted for him. Golf is a gentlemen's game where your honesty and integrity are considered a barometer of who you are as a human being. Obvisouly, Trump is not a human being. He may resemble one in many regards, bit don't let him fool you.

that is Palm Beach, but yeah, he seems to absolutely need to lie about the most petty, nonsensical shit! It's amazing.

Like the claim the other day that a bunch of "his generals" told him the Robert E. Lee was their "favorite" general.

Seriously?

Regarding the cheating....yeah....there has been a lot of commentary on that subject, especially since the book came out.

The impression I get from those comments I have read on it is essentially 'What the hell ya gonna do? It's fucking Donald Trump! You just aren't going to win, no matter what. He is paying for the round. He will do the stupidest shit, (like pick up your ball from where it lies 2 feet from the hole, and throw it into the sand trap before you get to the green and claim that's where it landed) and then say he won the hole. And then he buys lunch and/or drinks.'

Which makes a lot more sense. How could an 11-year-old child play at an adult level?

Here's A Good Story About Donald Trump Cheating A Child At Golf [CORRECTION]

David Roth
Today 2:07pm

CORRECTION (May 10, 4:06 p.m. ET): Vox appended the following correction to its post this afternoon: “In an earlier version of this article, the interviewee mischaracterized the age of Ted Virtue’s son who played golf with Trump. All of Virtue’s sons are at least in their 20s, not child-age. We sincerely regret the error.” I sincerely regret it, too.

It has long been known that Donald Trump cheats at golf. Not a little, either, but cheats with exactly the same degree of oafish balls-out shamelessness that he does everything else. Stories about this have circulated for a long time, to the point where they have taken on a sort of Mad Libs quality. Who can forget the time that Trump [threw/kicked/coaxed] a ball struck by [prominent sportscaster/longtime Days Of Our Lives cast member/thrice-divorced Florida chiropractor] into [a sand trap/a water hazard/a nearby alligator’s open mouth]? Try it yourself and enjoy a moment of outrage at Trump cheating egregiously so as to avoid losing a hole to David Charvet in match play.

There are enough of these stories out there that semi-retired journalist Rick Reilly was able to round them up into an entire book called Commander In Cheat. In promoting that book, Reilly has avowed that he remains a non-political person who was moved to write not by Trump’s broader grotesquerie but by the offenses that the president has visited upon the noble game of golf over his decades of relentless cheesy chiseling cheating. To the extent that receipts are necessary to prove something that everyone already knows to be true, Reilly seems to have them.

Many of the people that Reilly spoke to refused to attach their names to the stories they told, mostly because they understood that the current President of the United States is absolutely the sort of person who would pursue a scorched-earth campaign of retribution against anyone who insinuated that he was not, as he has often claimed, “the best golfer of all the rich people.” In an interview with Vox, Reilly tells a story about which the broad strokes have been known for some time—how Trump wheedled and bullied the financier and film producer Ted Virtue out of the club championship that Virtue had won at the Trump International Club in West Palm Beach.

The 'Un-indicted co-conspirator in Chief" and his lies about his height, that is. The author, Rick Reilly, is 6'1" (he's played golf with Trump many times) and stands eye-to-eye with Trump. He's also played with Barack Obama, and he stands eye-to-eye with him as well. Obama is 6'1". Yet Trump says he's 6'3" and 239 lbs. At 6'1" he'd be obese, so he has real Doctors lie for him so he won't have to admit that fact! Just one look at Trump and you know he's lying, yet so many people don't seem to care. They're fine with that. That's what pisses me off the most I think, that his cult followers don't care a whit about whether he has any honesty and integrity or not. That says so much about them it astonishes me!
