If you missed the Comey CNN town hall (I know, I know) but here is a link to all 15 video segments

Mandatory qualifier: I will never forget and have a hard time imagining forgiving Comey for his role in handing the election to Trump. That said, I am able to set aside my anger temporarily to hear what he has to say on the current situation, including Barr, Mueller, Trump and related. Few people have the inside knowledge of all the figures and the background story to comment in such a meaningful way. Don't forgive him, but consider listening...

This link has 15 video segments as you scroll down the page. Each is fairly short and worth a listen imho.

I use NoScript (and other add-ons) that make it a pain in the arse to try and view videos on some sites.

... Notes maintained by Sessions’ chief of staff depict a president in full venting mode: The attorney general was supposed to be a president’s most important appointment, he raged ...

He spent the next several days stewing over Comey. Their relationship was already fraught. Over dinner months earlier, Trump asked Comey to pledge his loyalty to him, but the FBI chief declined. Then Comey ignored the president’s appeal to end an investigation into his former national security adviser ...

By that weekend, Trump was at his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, crafting a plan to dismiss Comey and dictating language for a draft termination letter to aide Stephen Miller ...

... Trump asked Rosenstein to draft a memo recommending the dismissal, and to “put the Russia stuff” in it, according to the notes of a senior Justice Department official.

Rosenstein agreed to the memo but resisted any Russia reference. He knew as he left the White House that day that Comey would be fired — but not for the reasons he’d give in his document ...

And obviously, he did not stop her from getting the popular vote. I understand that the poll numbers pre his announcement of new evidence, decreased, but the actual win was still likely more based on Russian cyberattack and misinformation than anything else, except the usual strategy mistakes, electoral college influence, and yes, that she was not headed to be a landslide candidate,
The percentage by which she lost in three states was about the same for each. When you had campaign strategy affected by campaign coordination with Russians, and the possibility that they did get into the machines, a long with so many other factors, you just can not determine that Comey’s announcement alone made all the difference.
He bent too far over backward, mainly because he put th3 reputation of the FBI first, and he did, as we all did, think she would win.
But I have to say from the outset I was worried about our candidate being under investigation
In any case, thank you, and especially given your feelings, for posting this.
