remotely the same breathtaking ignorance of that anatomy or reproductive capabilities or functions that male legislators talk about female anatomy or reproductive capabilities or functions.
Is there a female legislator-talking-about-males equivalent of "If it was a legitimate rape, the body has some way of shutting that whole thing down!" or "We'll just reimplant the ectopic pregnancy, therefore no abortion required!"?
I have decided to hold my breath until I get a satisfying answer... I realize now that I may have made a mistake.

(82,849 posts)For the dumbass in Ohio who thinks ectopic embryos can be implanted in the uterus, maybe a mandatory vasectomy is in order. When he wants it reversed, he need merely fill out a small form indicating that he wants to father a child. He will need supporting declarations from an economist to certify that he has the financial ability to support a child; a doctor who will certify that his health is good enough to parent the child for the next 25 years; a woman who is willing to bear the child and provide a similar 25 year parenting period; a couples counselor who will certify that the dumbass and the woman are sufficiently compatible to stay together for 25 years and not subject the child to the trauma of divorce and maintain a happy, healthy, supportive home environment.
Those requirements shouldn't be too onerous for a man, should they? I mean, if he's truly serious about being a father. Then he can have his vasectomy temporarily reversed.
