The amendment to add rape and incest exceptions failed 11-22. Alabama will make abortions a felony, in all cases, from the moment of conception, punishable by up to 99 years in prison.

But the damn Evangelicals, who have pushed and pushed and pushed to outlaw abortion are worse than evil, if there is such a thing. They are an evil cult. The very same ones, who have ripped off public schools to fund their charter schools, where evolution is denied, there's no sex education, except abstinance. The very same ones, who tell women to be subserviant to their husbands and submit to their husband's every demand for sex.

Women are not going to stop terminating unwanted pregnancies, no matter what laws these cretins pass. The rich ones will simply hop on a plane and go to a clinic in a country where it's legal. The poor ones will jump out of windows, fall down stairs, drink poison, and visit Coathanger Katy and Hatpin Hattie.
