Who knew he was into that kind of thing? Oh well, even attorneys general who do cover-ups for criminal presidents gotta get their rocks off, and who are we to judge!
That's a reference to Barr's refusal to comply with congressional subpoenas related to special counsel Robert Mueller's report. Yes, Associated Press, we got it.
A smiling Pelosi let Barr know the House Sergeant at Arms was present at the ceremony, should any arrest be necessary, according to a person who witnessed the exchange and described it on the condition of anonymity.
DAMN.
We think Pelosi won that round, don't you think?
In case you were wondering, there is not an actual jail cell in the Congress, assuming Nancy Pelosi and Jerry Nadler and Adam Schiff decide in the next couple weeks that it's time to go ahead and LOCK HER UP a few of these motherfuckers, just to make a point. (They can start with former White House counsel Don McGahn, if, as we're suspecting, he waits until next Tuesday, when he's supposed to testify, and then tells Congress to pound sand.)
They can, however, get the sergeant at arms to take somebody into custody -- OR MAYBE THE GRAND MARSHAL OF THE SUPREME COURT PROBABLY MAYBE! -- and as
USA Today explains, they got rooms down there in the basement of the Capitol where they could LOCK HER UP. Wonkette would also suggest they should just hand the accused over to Maxine Waters, who would probably be GLAD to lock them the fuck up at her house, at least until she gets sick of listening to the imprisoned Trump idiots whining.
