Alan Dershowitz is throwing a fit about Mueller's presser. He clearly understood

how bad it was for Trump. If this Trump-apologist is so unhappy, that's good news for people who care about the truth.

Dershowitz: Shame on Robert Mueller for exceeding his role

Until today, I have defended Mueller against the accusations that he is a partisan. I did not believe that he personally favored either the Democrats or the Republicans, or had a point of view on whether President Trump should be impeached. But I have now changed my mind. By putting his thumb, indeed his elbow, on the scale of justice in favor of impeachment based on obstruction of justice, Mueller has revealed his partisan bias. He also has distorted the critical role of a prosecutor in our justice system.

Here 'ya go:

there's a pen (where they keep hogs) and you walk up and throw a stone.

It hits one.

It squeals (or, "who bawl&quot !!!!!!

THAT is the one who "get lick."

MEANING:

If you make a statement accusing someone of something, and THAT is the one that complains, BINGO, there's your guilty one!

In defense of questioning the quote, it is SO DAMNED HARD to figure just which one is guilty in this administration!

Dershowitz is completely in thrall to Trump. He knows that if he fails to vigorously defend his lord that he can expect certain things about underage girls and rape and what Trump and Epstein knows he did...to leak out.

That he is this craven and this compromised astounds me. It is hard to watch the complete dissolution of a man that had standing and respect from both sides.

Now Dershowitz is no better than Dinesh D’souza, Sean Hannity, Rudy Giuliani, Rush, Glen Beck etc.

He was never overly admired for his integrity, but he's one of a number who've astonished those who knew them by seemingly undergoing dramatic personality and behavior changes.

WHY would he be "in thrall to" Trump? Or would it be to agents of Putin, one of our own wannabe kleptocrats, McConnell, whoever? Whatever. This came out and Dershowitz, and others, went to work.

Oh, speaking of others, here're a pair of Lindsay Graham quotes from the announcement of Jaime Harrison, the former chairman of the South Carolina Democratic Party, that he's running for Graham's seat.

“He’s a race-baiting, xenophobic religious bigot.” Before election.
“No, I don’t think he’s a xenophobic, race-baiting, religious bigot, ... deserves the Nobel Peace Prize and then some.” After.

Harrison is also a former aide to SC's senior Democratic Rep. James Clyburn.

Go, Harrison!

We are becoming farther and farther away from having something resembling a decent and more equitable society that we may never be able to recover enough to begin to work toward that goal. With our corporate controlled media always allowing the depraved and 'detached from reality' republicans to control the narrative, I don't see for the foreseeable future any positive outcome.

Special Counsel authorized us to investigate actions that could obstruct the investigation. We conducted that investigation and we kept the office of the Acting Attorney General apprised of the progress of our work. As set forth in our report, after that investigation, if we had confidence that the President clearly did not commit a crime, we would have said that. We did not, however, make a determination as to whether the President did commit a crime. The introduction to volume two of our report explains that decision ...The Special Counsel’s Office is part of the Department of Justice and, by regulation, it was bound by that Department policy. Charging the President with a crime was therefore not an option we could consider ... And beyond Department policy, we were guided by principles of fairness. It would be unfair to potentially accuse somebody of a crime when there can be no court resolution of an actual charge. So that was the Justice Department policy and those were the principles under which we operated. From them we concluded that we would not reach a determination – one way or the other – about whether the President committed a crime. That is the office’s final position and we will not comment on any other conclusions or hypotheticals about the President ..."

putting your thumb or elbow on the scales of justice? Then what exactly does justice look like to him? And what is treason and corruption??? We here at DU overwhelmingly feel that Mueller didn't go far enough. Regardless of which side you're on politically, or what judgment you consider to be "partisan" or "just", the sobering truth that Robert Mueller left us with is that we need to improve our election security in the interests of our national sovereignty and security - which transcends Democrat or Republican. Ultimately, if we are to survive as a free and independent nation, we must have confidence that we ourselves are choosing our own leaders.

(I watch Fox so you don't have to)
EVERY SINGLE TIME Dershowitz has appeared on Hannity, it was to soften the ground to discredit Mueller's report. If I had a dollar for every time he said "I'm worried Mueller will produce a report that lists SINS and not CRIMES..." in his little munchkin voice. Dershowitz is not reversing his position. He's always had the SAME position. (ie-with his head right up Trump's colon.)
